The morning walk explored the campus’s rich green spaces\, characterized by dense vegetation\, old trees\, and flowering plants that support diverse birdlife. Participants gained insights into the ecological importance of such urban habitats\, with the guide emphasizing how these pockets play a crucial role in sustaining biodiversity within city landscapes. 								\n				\n				\n		\n				\n				\n					Partnered with				\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n				\n				\n				\n									The walk recorded a variety of engaging species\, including the Common Tailorbird—known for its unique leaf-stitching nesting behavior—and the melodious Oriental Magpie-Robin. Familiar birds like Common Myna\, Asian Koel\, Rose-ringed Parakeet\, Red-vented Bulbul\, and House Sparrow added to the experience. The highlight of the walk was the sighting of an Indian Scops-Owl\, an uncommon presence in such settings\, identified by its distinctive call.
