The session introduced participants to basic birdwatching techniques such as observing field marks\, behaviour\, and calls\, while also highlighting how university campuses can act as important green refuges for both resident and migratory birds.								\n				\n				\n				\n									As the walk progressed across the campus landscape\, students discovered an impressive diversity of birdlife\, recording 40 species during the session. Wetland edges and open areas revealed birds such as Little Cormorant\, Purple Heron\, Grey Heron\, Wood Sandpiper\, River Tern\, and the striking Pied Kingfisher hovering above the water.
