A campus bird walk at Ram Kishan TT College, led by Bhuvnesh Kumar, showcased the diversity of birdlife thriving in a semi-urban campus setting. Raptors like Shikra and Black Kite were seen overhead, while the presence of Black-headed Ibis and wagtails hinted at nearby wet patches. Ground-dwelling species such as Grey Francolin and Red-wattled Lapwing added to the habitat variety, alongside commonly seen birds like Rock Pigeon, House Crow, and large flocks of mynas and doves.

The campus vegetation supported an active mix of passerines, with Black Drongos prominently hawking insects and Rufous Treepies moving through the trees. Babblers, prinias, and Indian Silverbills animated the scrub, while Purple Sunbirds and Red-vented Bulbuls added color and movement. Rose-ringed Parakeets and House Sparrows were abundant, making the walk lively and accessible for participants. Overall, the checklist reflected a strong representation of dryland and urban-adapted species, reinforcing the ecological value of campus habitats for everyday birding and learning.
